Following its accomplishment with construction equipment JCB dealer in Botswana, BH Botswana recently launched a range of Generators and Lighting Tower known as LT9. BH is on a mission to diversify its products and introduced diesel powered generators ranging from 17kva to 550kva, at a time when the country is battling with serious power cuts.

The new LT9 has been hailed as an ingenious product and a 7th wonder as it has;

Excellent run time of 68 hours from just one tank of diesel;

Mast rotates 360 providing light wherever it’s required; and
Two auxiliary sockets can be used for powering small held tools on the jobsite

BH Botswana success with construction equipment has made it a well known brand in the industry and has also been in the country for over 30 years now.Top of Form

DIRECTOR GENERAL OF UNESCO (WHC) VISIT BOTSWANA

The Director General of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, Mr Francesco Bandarin visited the country over the weekend.

The visit came at a time when Botswana is undertaking a nomination exercise for the listing of the Okavango Delta as a World Heritage Site. To date only one site has been listed as a World Heritage Site in Botswana, namely Tsodilo Hills, in 2001.

During his visit, Mr Bandarin together with the Minister of Environment Wildlife and Tourism, Honourable Kitso Mokaila met with local authorities in the Okavango Sub-District, Tsodilo Management Authority and the staff of Botswana National Museum and Monuments in Shakawe on Friday. The two also toured Tsodilo World Heritage Site as part of their excursion.

BHC hosts Customer Day

In an effort to enhance its stakeholder engagement initiatives and to promote its mandate, the Botswana Housing Corporation (BHC) held a Customer Day event last Saturday in the Gaborone Main Mall. This was the fourth customer day event held by the corporation, following the last one held in Francistown last September.

Through the event, BHC hopes: to reach out to and connect with customers through open and friendly interactions; to give and gather feedback; and to inform and educate customers on the corporation’s mandate and products and services.

The theme for the event, “Getting closer to home”, is intended to promote home ownership and to show the corporation’s efforts to get closer to its customers.
